Optimize Your Hips: A Mobility for Longevity Workshop
About this Event
Learn exactly where your tightest, most underworked hip muscles are, and how to actually reach them. We're talking about the deep muscles beneath the poses: the ones that affect how you walk, balance, and move every day. Hip extension capacity is one of the cleanest predictors of how you move for decades. This movement practice will focus on optimizing your hips for the long term.
This isn't a flow class. It's a focused, hands-on workshop where you'll feel the difference between moving through a pose and understanding the architecture underneath it, grounded in functional anatomy and longevity science.
What you'll experience:
- An anatomy intro through the femoral architecture
- Diagnostic movement work to locate the adductor magnus and deep external rotators from the inside
- Hands-on adjustments through standing balance, including precision corrections most practitioners have never been taught
- A focused hip extension capacity sequence
- A home protocol mapped to functional markers you can re-test and practice
Who it's for: Anyone who wants to feel the architecture beneath the poses, longevity-aware practitioners, anyone practicing for depth and for the long game.
What to bring: yoga mat, journal and pen, comfortable layered clothing
