Glass fusing is the art of layering glass and firing it in the kiln to permanently join the design and give it texture and shape.
In this two hour group class you will learn the fundamentals of glass fusing:
· To cut and shape glass.
· How to lay out and secure your design.
· How the special fuse used for this class will create your illusion.
You'll choose your own color palette, map out your design, and select the final shape of your piece.
Need a creative boost? We have wine, cocktails, tea, coffee, or soda for you to enjoy while learning this exciting medium!
Please note: This class is for beginners to learn the basics – no experience is necessary and all tools are provided. This is a family friendly class, ages 10 and up. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. All persons attending must pay the class fee and make a project. Your piece will be ready approximately 7-10 days after your class.
