What: ‘Opt Outside’ is an alternative to ‘Black Friday’ (shopping the day after Thanksgiving); CFIN’s long standing version of this is: Green Friday Fun! We will have: a short hike, a small plates/snack potluck, games, arts, and crafts (hopefully beside a cozy fire-weather conditions permitting), a winter outdoor gear swap, tire playground and nature center fun, and time in community with friends old and new.
Why: Less consumerism, more community!
Where: We’ll gather at a pavilion at Patapsco Hilton.
Who: All in our CEI community (with and without kids) who are interested are invited to register; your registration covers your household and any guests from out of town.
When: Friday, November 29, 12:30PM-3:30PM (the day after Thanksgiving). Registration is limited.
