OPP Scenario Volunteer Opportunity

Student volunteers will act as role players for a public order event with the OPP ERT unit. ERT members are utilizing crowd manage tactics to control public order crowds . Role players will be part of a large crowd, and the police public order unit will have to manage the groups actions and control elements of the scenario as officers will be faced with a variety of use of force events. Students will be given scripts to act on and the scenario will be a controlled environment with minimal physical contact with officers. NOTE: Register using your AC EMAIL ADDRESS. A commitment is expected; this is a high value event. If you can't attend, you must cancel your eventbrite order so that another student can attend on your behalf. Imperative that you watch your AC email daily for updates - a pre-event info session led by the OPP event lead may be held - we will advise.
