OPOF book club meeting discussing tbd

The Our Planet Our Future Book Club is going to meet in pubs in Harpenden on Thursday evenings five times a year, from 7.30-9.30pm. The group has chosen books which we are very much looking forward to reading and discussing at the next three meetings:

27 February, Blue Machine: How the Ocean Shapes Our World - Helen Czerski

24 April, ⁠Braiding Sweetgrass - Robin Wall Kimmerer

26 June, ⁠Prosperity Without Growth - Tim Jackson

We will discuss the books and the ideas that the book inspires us.

We encourage members to obtain books from the library (or borrow box), charity shops, or second-hand bookshops.

This bookclub is a spin off from Our Planet Our Future, our landmark series of events, talks and workshops at the Plough & Harrow, free to join with a regularly changing programme of lively and informed discussion on the latest eco-issues.
