Do you know a veteran or an active-duty family in need this year? The North Las Vegas Veterans Community Commission is accepting nominations for assistance.
To nominate a veteran or military family, please contact Jimmy Vega at 702-445-4100 to nominate a veteran or family. If you or your organization would like to sponsor a military family, please contact Jimmy Vega or call 702-633-1640 for more information.
Important Dates:
- Saturday, Dec. 21st: All gifts are to be delivered to the Veterans
& Community Resource Center by 4pm.
- Monday, Dec. 23rd: Join us at the Veterans & Community
Resource Center at 10 a.m. for a wrapping
party of all the gifts.
- Tuesday, Dec. 24th: Meet at Veterans & Community Resource
Center at 9:00 a.m. to deliver all the gifts
to the families. A bus will provide
transportation to deliver the gifts to each
of the families’ homes. The bus departs at
10 a.m.
