Operation Honor: Rural Salute GA is a full-day, no-cost community event built for veterans, military spouses, and the families who hold it all together. We're bringing it to Milledgeville on October 10th because rural Georgia has been driving two hours for help long enough.
This isn't a resource fair with folding tables and pamphlets. This is food trucks, live music, a Veteran Farmers Market vendors, craft vendors, kids running wild, and the kind of real help that usually requires a waiting room and a 90-minute drive. All in one place. All free. All day.
Come for the food. Stay for the music. Leave with something that actually changes your situation.

VA Benefits & Claims Help
VA representatives on site. No appointment. If you've been putting off that claim, sitting on a denial, or just don't know where to start, this is your day. We've watched veterans walk into our events with issues going back decades and walk out with real answers. Bring your paperwork. Bring your questions. Bring the veteran in your life who's been saying "I'll get to it."
Health & Mental Health
No clinical setting. No pressure. No clipboard. Just organizations that understand what rural veteran life actually looks like and want to help you navigate it. Walk up when you're ready.

Food trucks. Live music all day. Craft vendors. A Veteran Farmers Market with veteran-owned farms and products. Kids' games and entertainment so your family can be WITH you while you handle business. This is a community day. Bring everyone.
Free Food Boxes (Feeding Georgia Partnership)
We've partnered with Feeding Georgia to provide free food boxes for anyone who needs one. During registration, just let us know you'd like a box and it'll be ready for pickup at the event. No questions asked.

Why We're Coming to You
Because that's how it should work.Veterans in rural communities don't have a VA medical center down the street. They don't have a VSO on every corner. They drive. They wait. They go without. Operation Honor: Rural Salute exists to close that gap. We bring the resources, the community, and the good time directly to the towns that earned it.
Georgia is our third 2026 event. We chose Milledgeville because central Georgia has one of the highest veteran populations in the state and some of the fewest resources within reach. That ends October 10th.
