Operation Honor: Rural Salute GA | Free Veteran & Community Event

Georgia is getting a community day built around the people who served it. Food trucks, live music, craft vendors, a Veteran Farmers Market, speaker panels, kids' entertainment, and some of the most important veteran-facing resources in the state, all in one place, all at no cost.

This event is for everyone and it was built with veterans in mind.

If you live in this community, if you have a veteran in your family, or if you just believe rural Georgia deserves to be invested in the same way it invests in others, you have a seat at this table. Bring your people. Come ready to eat, listen, and leave better off than you arrived.

Operation Honor: Rural Salute does not do formal. We do front porch service. That means real organizations, real conversations, and real help, set up right next to the food trucks and the live music, because that is exactly where veterans and families are most likely to actually use it. If you know someone who has been putting off a VA claim, dealing with a benefits issue, or just needs to know what is out there, October 10th is the day to get them out of the house.

This event is presented nationally by VetClaims.ai. As a veteran-owned company and national leader in VA claim preparation, VetClaims.AI has employed more than 200 veterans and supported over 22,000 veterans nationwide.

A full community day with real substance behind it.

Expect music, good food, local vendors, and a Veteran Farmers Market. Expect speaker panels worth staying for. Expect kids to have somewhere to be while the adults handle business. And expect the kind of veteran resources that usually require a long drive and a waiting room to be right there, accessible, and ready for you.

Benefits and Claims Help

VA representatives will be on site for enrollment, claims assistance, and direct outreach. Veterans at past OHRS events have walked in with unresolved issues going back 20 or 30 years and left with real movement on their cases. If you have been waiting, stop waiting. Bring it here.

Whether you are looking for your next job, exploring a trade or certification, thinking about school, or building a business of your own, we have employers, educators, and veteran entrepreneurs on site ready to talk. Not pitch. Talk.

Health care and mental health organizations will be on site throughout the day. No clinical setting, no pressure, no awkward waiting rooms. Just people who understand rural veteran life and want to help.

Family Activities and Entertainment

Kids' games and entertainment, food trucks, live music, craft vendors, speaker panels, and a Veteran Farmers Market. There is something here for everyone who comes through the gate, not just the veteran.

Operation Honor: Rural Salute GA is hosted in partnership with Georgia Military College. We are building a strong roster of organizations across every category on site and adding partners regularly.
