Following the endlessly optimistic Candide on a globe-spanning journey through chaos, catastrophe and self-discovery, this production combines razor-sharp satire with some of musical theatre’s most stunning vocal writing. Both hilarious and deeply poignant, Candide offers a timely reflection on idealism in an imperfect world.
