Opening Weekend presented by TD is packed with activities for fans of all ages!

Season Kickoff on the Boardwalk
Festivities begin Friday, September 19, with a Season Kickoff on the Saint John Boardwalk. From 4:30-6 p.m., fans can enjoy free live music from The Last Call, games, rides in the Saint John Firefighters’ antique fire truck, and autographs with Fleaburn and Sea Dogs players. Plus, the first 300 fans will receive a free hot dog courtesy of TD.

Home Opener – Friday Night
The action shifts to TD Station, where doors open at 6 p.m. for the Sea Dogs’ 2025-26 Home Opener against the Cape Breton Eagles. Thousands of rally towels will be handed out at the door, courtesy of Irving Oil.
This will be your first chance to see the new-look Sea Dogs in action, including first overall pick Alexis Joseph and World Juniors standout Olivers Murnieks.

Sea Dogs Ball Hockey Classic presented by TD
The fun continues Saturday, September 20, with the Sea Dogs Ball Hockey Classic presented by TD, running from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Cup outdoor rink on Station Street. Eight U13 teams will compete in a round robin, with the top four advancing to the semifinals.
The champions will win more than bragging rights. They’ll enjoy a unique game-day experience, watching warmups from the Sea Dogs bench and taking part in the high-five tunnel before the Sea Dogs face the Eagles again that night at TD Station.
Registration is $25 per player and includes a team shirt, three guaranteed games (plus potential playoff rounds), and a 25-Under ticket to the Saturday, September 20 game. Teams can register by completing the form here. The deadline is Monday, September 15 at noon.

Throughout the weekend, fans can also stop by the TD Community Zone, where TD will be giving away limited edition Sea Dogs scarves and other gifts to celebrate Opening Weekend.
