Join us on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th February for our first operating weekend of the 2025 season.We will be operating a two train service with regular departures from Butterley station.
Home fleet steam locomotives LMS 3F 16440 & RSH No.15 Eustace Forth will both be in steam hauling our Mark1 coaching stock.
British Rail Class 141113, the only operational example of this class in preservation will also be out both days.
Get off the train at Swanwick Junction and explore the Museum Complex, where you will be able to visit the Demonstration Signal Box, Victorian Railwayman’s Church and the Country Park. Other attractions may also be open.
Plus Deeley’s Tearooms at Swanwick Junction will be open serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice creams and sandwiches.
