About this Event
Overview
The heart center is our spiritual organ with qualities such as joy, compassion, love, and kindness. These do not depend on anyone or anything outside of us - they are the natural qualities of our being, always present and available to be tapped into.
In this workshop, we will explore how to soften the layers of protection and tension that often surround the heart center, and how to rest more fully in its innate openness. Through breathwork, guided meditation, and gentle somatic awareness, we will cultivate the conditions that allow the heart’s qualities to emerge naturally.
Drawing from different wisdom traditions we will engage in practices that deepen our connection to this inner center and expand its radiance into our daily lives.
The session will include 3 guided practices designed to help you:
- Release patterns of holding around the heart center
- Tap into joy, compassion, love, and kindness as natural qualities of your being
- Deepen into the heart center as a source of nourishment, presence, and divine
This workshop is open to all who wish to cultivate a more authentic connection with themselves and life through the wisdom of the heart.

Host
Asyl’s journey spans over a decade of rigorous practice, beginning with the Kriya and Tantra yoga traditions and later deepening through samatha and vipassana practices rooted in Theravada Buddhism. After many retreats and years of dedicated training, he chose to fully devote himself to exploring the nature of the mind, undergoing intensive training in the Rinzai Zen tradition at Korinji - Rinzai Zen Monastery. Today, he continues to practice within the Zen tradition, enriching his path with training in the mystical teachings of Sufism, non-dual meditation teacher programs, and somatic teacher trainings.
His work is rooted in the psycho-spiritual domain, where he practices and teaches direct methods for engaging the whole being - body, mind, subtle energy system, and heart. Asyl’s approach is integrative, blending the rigor of disciplined practice with a deep sensitivity to the unfolding of inner experience and the natural flow of life. He invites practitioners into an embodied path of transformation – one that honors the intelligence of the body-mind, nurtures presence, and expands perception beyond the ordinary as a gateway to the Sacred and Divine.
Asyl is the co-founder of Innercraft, an online platform offering in-depth meditation teachings from diverse wisdom traditions. His professional background includes an MBA from Dartmouth College
