La mostra ripercorre cinquant’anni di lavoro dell'artista, pioniera della computer art, mettendo al centro il rapporto tra corpo e tecnologia. Dalle prime animazioni alle installazioni in realtà virtuale, la retrospettiva evidenzia l’evoluzione della rappresentazione del corpo digitale e le sue implicazioni culturali. Il lavoro di Allen critica l’idea di una tecnologia neutra e anticipa temi attuali come identità digitale e relazione tra umano e artificiale.

The exhibition traces fifty years of work by the artist, a pioneer of computer art, focusing on the relationship between the body and technology. From early animations to virtual reality installations, the retrospective highlights the evolution of the representation of the digital body and its cultural implications. Allen’s work critiques the idea of technology as neutral and anticipates current issues such as digital identity and the relationship between the human and the artificial.
