Join us for the Opening Reception of DANVILLE CHADBOURNE: NEW WORKS on Saturday, October 10, 2-6pm.
Drawing on the visual language of ancient artifacts, Danville Chadbourne's New Works invite reflection on ritual, memory, mythology, and the universal threads that connect human experience across time and culture.
The exhibit displays the breadth of his work including outdoor sculptures, wall, suspended, pedestal, and floor pieces in clay and wood.

DANVILLE CHADBOURNE was born in Bryan, Texas in 1949 and has lived in San Antonio since 1979. He earned a BFA from Sam Houston State University and an MFA from Texas Tech University. After teaching studio art and art history for 17 years, he left academia in 1989 to pursue his art full-time.
Primarily a sculptor working in clay and wood, Chadbourne has developed a distinctive body of work characterized by primal iconography and an artifact-like quality. He has exhibited extensively nationwide, with more than 100 solo exhibitions, and his work is held in numerous public and private collections.
