Opening of Holly Jolly Days

Holly Jolly Days is a celebration of family-centered fun and attractions at the museum from Nov. 14 through Jan. 10, which includes the 35th annual running of the Holiday Toy Trains.
Eight O-gauge Lionel model trains will circle 250 feet of track, chug chugging beside thirty moving accessories. At the push of a button, guests suddenly become part of the animated display. They can call a firefighter into action as they slide down a pole, bring miniature animals to life and even activate a cow-abducting UFO.
And just around the corner is the spectacular animated holiday display, Wahoo's Winter Wonderland based on local author Diana Grady's children's book, "The Holiday Adventures of Wiley Wahoo and Me." Join Wiley the dog on his mischievous, winter adventure in a miniature display of Cincinnati and Northern KY landmarks.
Designed with family enjoyment in mind, Holly Jolly Days offers an engaging adventure filled with timeless wonder for all generations amid the holiday bustle.
Regular museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The museum will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and day and New Year's Eve and day.
Admission is free for BCM members and children under age 3; $12 adults; $10 seniors 60+; $5 children ages 3-17. Wednesdays are Grandparents Days: one grandchild admitted free with each paying grandparent.
