Event Description:

Celebrate! Educate! Collaborate! This is the theme for Business Showcase Week 2024. This week, which is full of amazing activities, begins with our favorite part – CELEBRATE!

Please join us for the Opening Kickoff Celebration for Business Week 2024. It starts with the breakfast of champions – coffee, juice, and donuts! At 8:15 am, we will kick off this special morning with a warm welcome, a few introductions, and comments by some special guests.

After the formalities, the Innovation Connector will present six Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards to community members who have demonstrated the true meaning of entrepreneurship in the Muncie community. We will then award one person as the Business Supporter of the Year. This has always been a very special time of celebration and recognition for people we know, work with, and share community.

The Kickoff Celebration will end with a short TED Talk, “A Different Set of Eyes.” This TED Talk is an account of an event encountered recently by CEO/Executive Director Ted Baker that clearly demonstrates the Innovation Connector's role in the Muncie community. You do not want to miss this presentation.
