Opening day/Week 1 of the 2026 Kentwood Summer Doubles 39th Season starts 4.24.26 the last Friday of April,
Tee time is at 6pm sharp... (or as soon as we can get all you hooligans registered and teams set, no complaining :P)), you will not want to miss out on the fun!!
After the round, Ruckus Pizza @ Mission Valley for some beers, pizza and comradery to catch up with your long lost disc golfers.

In keeping with past traditions the winner of the season points race in the PRO division will get their likeness on the next years stamp, this year Adam Keel won those distinct honors and is featured on the s39 stamp, wtg Keel!! Who will win the honors to be on the 40th anniversary stamp of Kentwood Summer Doubles .... TBD?
This year , like the 2025 the season will consist of 19 weeks, we will take the total scores of your best 17 weeks, allowing up to 2 drop weeks. Your weekly score will simply be your strokes under par. For ex. a -13 score scores 13 points. The weekly winner earns an additional 1 point for that week's score. For ex. winning with a -17 scores 18 points.
Format is Captain’s choice doubles. Teams are chosen at random by division.
We will keep the 4 division format from 2025 as it created a more evenly distributed level of talent. Divisions are as follows, Professional(PRO) Advanced(ADV) Intermediate(INT) Novice (NOV) (rec was converted last year into into INTERMEDIATE and NOVICE)
Choose your division based on your average doubles round if you score -10 or better Pro, -9 to -6 ADV , -5 to -2 INT, and -1 to ++ + NOV. (This is recomended but not set in stone, as well if you have already won a division you must play in the next higher divison)
Top 3 in each division will earn trophys.
Top 3 woman will earn trophys.
NOV will first be paired with PROS until we run out of either, followed by ADV/NOV, then ADV/INT, followed by INT/INT and then INT/NOV and then NOV/NOV .
Top 40% payout, 18 ctps valued at over $250. Bag o Bucks on holes #9 and #18 will be $50 each. Ace pool will be $1 from each player. If not hit, we will carry over to the following week.
Highest scoring NOV/NOV team if not already placing will also cash.
Onsite registration opens at 5:10pm at the picnic pavilion aka TD central,
** Online pre-registration opens Monday 4.13.26.
**Online requests will have precedence over later onsite card requests.
We will do our best to honor those requests, but sometimes multiple requests happen for some players preventing that, so just be advised that even online requests can sometimes not happen and the card request order will go to the inital requester, but also note that the person being requested can override the request and make the final call.
*BIG CHANGE, THIS YEAR ALL ONLINE PAYMENTS WILL GO THROUGH VENMO ONLY, we will no longer be accepting paypal due to the additional fees they charge that people consistantly forget to pay, it was over 211 times last year costing the club nearly $150. To pre-register online, simply pay $10 via venmo, then message the KWDGC facebook page with a screen shot of your venmo pmt. confirmation. Include your name, your division, PRO , ADV, INT or NOV.

If you receive a thumbs up on FaceBook Messenger than your online registration was processed. and you DO NOT need to make another leaderboard card at td central. I.E. DO NOT FILL OUT A STICKER WITH YOUR NAME ON IT OR WE WILL HAVE 2 ENTRIES FROM YOU AND THIS WILL CAUSE MUCH CHAOS AND MASHING OF TEETH!!!
If you don't have your phone with you, please tell Mike Kirsch and he can check you into udisc from the admin tab, you must be checked in so that your card can add you to a team for score keeping purposes.
IF YOU WISH TO PAY DIGITALLY IN PERSON, PLEASE SHOW THE PMT. CONFIRMATION AT THE TIME YOU REGISTER, SO PLEASE HAVE THAT DONE AND UP AND READY TO SHOW US PRIOR TO VISITING THE TABLE, i.e. please don’t clog up the line standing there with 10 people behind you while you start clicking to pay ….
IF YOU HAVE VERIZON, the signal is sometimes poor so i'd suggest you check in prior to arriving as the signal at kentwood for some reason is not very good.
