The Tibetan Monks of Gaden Shartse monastery will perform the cleansing and blessing ceremony in preparation for the daily work on the sand mandala. The sand mandala is laid down one grain of sand at a time.
The Medicine Buddha is regarded as the Buddha of healing and medicine. He venerated as a Buddha to ease suffering and illness
This event is part of the Sacred Earth & Healing Arts of Tibet Tour offered by the Tibetian Buddhist Monks of Gaden Shartse Monastic University.
