Remai Modern is pleased to welcome members and the public to celebrate the opening of From the Edge of the Horizon, a career-spanning exhibition of the work of internationally renowned artist Dawit L. Petros.
Join us for an evening of art, music, and community. The celebration begins with an exclusive members’ preview at 6 PM, offering early access to the exhibition. At 7 PM, doors open to the public for the official launch of the exhibition.
Throughout the evening, enjoy music, refreshments, and remarks from key contributors.

A companion exhibition, From the Edge of the Horizon II is on view at the University of Saskatchewan’s College Art Galleries from September 5 to December 19, 2025. It features works from Petros’s The Stranger’s Notebook, a conceptual multimedia series that questions the relationship between the self and place in the context of present-day migration in Africa.
