↘ 40 jaar Chambres d'Amis
Veertig jaar na 'Chambres d’Amis' blikt S.M.A.K. terug én vooruit. Drie hedendaagse kunstenaars herdenken de baanbrekende tentoonstelling uit 1986 met nieuwe ‘chambres’ in het museum. Tegelijk brengt een archiefpresentatie de vele verhalen achter deze mijlpaal in de kunstgeschiedenis tot leven.

S.M.A.K. toont werk van de Belgische kunstenaar Carole Vanderlinden, met schilderijen en werken op papier uit de afgelopen vijf jaar.

Forty years after Chambres d’Amis, S.M.A.K. looks back and forward. Three contemporary artists pay tribute to the groundbreaking 1986 exhibition by creating new “chambres” within the museum. At the same time, an archival presentation brings to life the many stories behind this milestone in art history.
↘ Solo exhibition 'Keep a promise' by Carole Vanderlinden
S.M.A.K. presents work by Belgian artist Carole Vanderlinden, featuring paintings on canvas and works on paper from the past five years.
