We gather to celebrate the return of light and warmth, to find comfort and joy in traditions old and new, and to feel the embrace of community as we greet the longest night of the year. Our celebration will begin with a warm drink and a crackling fire to keep away winter’s dark and chill. We’ll move into the cozy lights and warmth of the gathering hall, where we will share company, stories, and songs that remind us of the enduring spirit of light even in the darkest of times.
We invite you to bring your favorite savory or sweet finger foods and drinks for light refreshments and socialization before the ritual.
You may also bring a previously loved but now underused magickal tool for the Used Magickal Gift exchange, and help your treasures find a new home. Bring your wrapped magickal tool (physical items only - no services, no books) and label it if it is specific to one particular Path in paganism. You may also include a note if you’d like the next owner to know anything about the item.
If your gift goes onto the “$10-$30 value” or “over $30 value” table, you get to pick a new-to-you present up from the same table before you go! We’ll also have a “Free To A Good Home” table; any items placed there must be collected by their owners if they are not claimed.
