Join Desert Endurance Racing to recovery from yesterday’s race, or to just cool off with an open water swim that explores the beautiful Lake Pleasant Regional Park waters. This swim is designed to provide a safe and fun way to get some OWS. Sunday, October 5th @0700
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early and prepare to be feet wet by 0715
We will meet in the parking lot by the restrooms at the Castle Creek (North) Boat Ramp (See map pin)
Route: This will be an out-and-back swim of approximately 1-hour (distance is determined by your pace)
To ensure a safe and enjoyable swim, please come prepared with the following:
• A brightly colored swim cap (mandatory)
• A safety swim buoy (mandatory)
• Swim goggles with defog are highly recommended
• Appropriate swimming attire
• A wetsuit if you desire (water temps updated closer to the day)
• Sunscreen and sturdy shore shoes (that can get wet) are highly recommended
