This event is for anyone who wants to get some volunteer hours in here at our shelter by helping walk dogs and socialize them. We have set a goal for the first time here, to try and hit 750 hours of walking time for our dogs. The last two years we hit over 550 hours so we are reaching out to YOU to help us meet that goal. Need volunteer hours for school ? Come walk dogs ! Need some time to yourself to get outside ? Come walk our dogs !! Looking to help give back to your community in a positive way ? COME WALK DOGS !! Our volunteer program is designed to be laid back and very enjoyable.
The orientation will consist of filling out the volunteer application and liability form. We will also go over a few packets of papers explaining the program in more detail and also going over the rules for volunteers. We then talk about scheduling and do a facility walk through. We would love for you to join our team. Anyone that has open time during our business hours (Mon-Fri 8:30AM to 4:30PM) would be able to sign up. We also do allow volunteers to sign up for Saturdays rom 10AM to 2PM if that works for you.
In order to get signed up for the orientation you just have to call our office at 330-674-6301 and ask to be put on the list for the orientation on 3/29/2025 at 9:00 AM. We look forward to seeing you here, the dogs are waiting for you !!!
