Open Studio - Live Model in Movement

Calling all local artists seeking inspiration - create with live models in movement!
Join us for JV Open Studio on Friday 17 July 9:45am - 12:45pm. We're opening the studio doors and inviting artists from different disciplines to create work in response to our JV2 dancers as live models in motion.
£12 - Standard ticket (includes studio access, refreshments, and the chance to connect with other artists)
£5 - Student ticket
Spend a morning experimenting, observing, and responding in real time as different art forms share the same creative space. This is a relaxed opportunity to explore new ideas, collaborate with fellow creatives, and experience dance from a fresh perspective.
Artists are welcome to draw, paint, photograph, sculpt, collage, craft, write, compose, or experiment in any medium in response to the dancers.
Schedule
9:45am - 10:00am: Arrive at JV H.O.M.E. and set up
10:00am - 11:15am: Begin creating in the studio during warm up class
11:15am - 11:30am: Short break with refreshments and informal networking in the café
11:30am - 12:30pm: Create whilst dancers begin rehearsal
12:30pm - 12:45pm: Pack away and exit the studio

Oil-based paints and charcoal is not permitted in the studio
Materials will not be provided
Tables and chairs will be available
