Join us on Thursday evenings at Artspace for our bi-weekly Open Studio program! Participate in our planned activity or bring your own project, and come make some art in a calm, creative, community space.

What is Open Studio?

Open Studio is a FREE bi-weekly art program, that happens on the first and third Thursday of the month at Artspace (with some exceptions). At Open Studio, community members of all ages and skill levels are invited to come out and make art alongside one another! Registration is required to participate.

What can I make?

Each Open Studio session, we have a set art-making activity, facilitated by a volunteer instructor. Community members can also bring their own project, OR utilize Maker Space materials such as collaging, zine making, mending, embroidery, colouring, knitting, or crochet.

Accessibility

• Gallery entrance and bathroom are wheelchair accessible
• All workshop tables will be set up to accommodate mobility aids.
• Earplugs available on site
• All cleaning products used at Artspace are scent free, with scent free policy in place for all volunteers and staff.

COVID-19

• Masks are welcome and encouraged, and we will also have masks available for folks at the door.
• Maker Space and Gallery equipped with Hepa filters
• Hand sanitizer provided
