Unleash your creativity on our "Open Studio" days! Open studio is an opportunity to design and assemble your own glass masterpiece or create a recent class project you may have missed. Unless arranged prior, techniques are not taught during open studio. Guidance is provided, but not formal instruction. Participants must have basic glass working experience and must have attended at least one formal class at our studio or another in warm (fused) or cold (stained/ mosaic) glasswork. Large projects may take multiple sessions to complete. The studio provides hand tools, grinders, work space, and basic supplies like adhesives, cleaners and towels. Glass and all other materials studio materials available for purchase.

Pricing: Your $10 reservation fee will be credited to the total for your project. Projects can be chosen from a wide variety of pre-priced studio creations, or you can create your own custom project. Prices vary based on glass and materials chosen and firing requirements (if applicable). Please contact the studio prior to your arrival to create custom pieces for pricing estimates and to be sure we have all of the materials needed on hand. Payment in full for your project/ materials is required upon arrival. ***Patterns worked on at open studio must be legally obtained & have reproduction granted by the pattern artist. Working on patterns of copyrighted and/ or trademarked images used without permission (ex. Disney/ cartoon characters, sports logos, etc) is not permitted at Open Studio.***

Safety:
Close toed shoes are required.
Masks &/or protective eyewear must be used when working with grinders, powders, fiber materials, and many cutting tools
Drinks must be in a fully covered/ closed container and eating is not permitted on any glass workspace.

Clean up: participants are expected to clean up their own work space. This includes clearing the table and returning all equipment to the proper storage space. Open Studio participants must take all personal supplies and equipment with them when they leave the session. Seating is limited and a reservation is required Open studio reservation fees are non-refundable
