Open Studio: cookie decorating!

Like art studio drop in spots, the idea is to provide a fun opportunity to flex your creative muscles and try out a new “craft” without needing to make an investment in specialty tools, etc. Have fun and let your inner creative loose!

"Open Studio" sessions are unstructured and self guided. A Muddy's gnomie will be present in case help is needed, but this is NOT an instructional class. Do your own thing with freestyle decoration and let your creativity out to play!

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR TICKET?

• Reservations are made by the table, not by the person. Each table seats 1 or 2 people comfortably, 3 cozily. For more than 3 people, please reserve additional tables.

• 1 hour of time in our classroom at your reserved table.

• Each table is supplied with: 12 cookies to decorate, buttercream icing in 3 colors, pastry/icing bags, 3 different icing tips, a variety of sprankles, and a bakery box to take home your goodies.

• Session begins with a brief demonstration on how to use the tools, change icing tips, etc. Then we let you loose to have fun decorating your own cookies! At the end, box up your creations to share & enjoy :)

• Children under 12 yrs must be accompanied by an adult.

Muddy's Open Studio events are all about fun! You reserve a table and have access to all the tools and supplies you need to play... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies!

Is this event kid-friendly? Yes! This event is best for ages 6+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please enjoy yourself, while also being mindful of the enjoyment of other participants.

Is there an age maximum? Nope! Children are welcome at open studio sessions, but these are loads of fun for couples, friends, coworkers, even solo.

How many participants does one ticket cover? One ticket = one table. One table works for up to 3 participants (1-2 people comfortably, 3 cozily). For more than 3 people, please purchase an additional table reservation.

Will I learn decorating/icing techniques? "Open Studio" events are freestyle creativity not instructional. Check out our hands-on classes for in-depth sessions on baking & decorating!

Are tables wheelchair accessible? All our student tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!

What about cancellations/refunds? Events are small and tickets are extremely limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date and time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you are welcome to gift your ticket to a friend or reach out to inquire if there is a wait list.
