The Lucky Otters is Nick Balaban, Kevin Batchelor, J. Walter Hawkes, J Granelli and Diego Voglino. Not unlike otters in the wild, they are as relentlessly playful as they are serious. Their music is influenced by everything you've ever heard, though the Jazz, R&B, Country, Rock and whatever Singer-Songwriter music or Americana is is probly the most obvious. They have individually played/worked with everyone from Ray Charles to Keith Richards to Norah Jones to Mose Allison to Bruce Springsteen to The Sun Ra Arkestra to Patti Labelle to Sting to Shaggy to The Count Basie Orchestra to Steel Pulse to Barrington Levy to... you get the picture.
