Open Sew! at CREATE Workshop

Need a larger space to work? Machine at the shop? Need a semi-industrial* for top-stitching or heavy fabric sewing? Want some company while you finish up a project? Come on by! Simply pay for the time you need. Shared equipment is available on a FCFS basis.

When: Saturday, November 21 | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Sabathani Community Center, Studio 310 (building is accessible; free parking in lot)

Cost: $5 for each 30 minutes, or portion thereof.

Equipment Available:

8 Sewing machines, plus a semi-industrial (Janome HD9)

Irons

Various tools (scissors, rotary cutters, rulers, etc)

Large work surfaces

Please bring:

Whatever projects you are working on!

Items that are consumable (thread, fabric, interfacing, etc)

Supplies are also available for purchase as needed.

(*A Janome HD9 is available for sewists who are comfortable working a semi-industrial machine. But it has its limitations – only fabrics appropriate for the machine will be allowed to be sewn on it.)
