Ages 1 – 4 yrsThis welcoming open play class offers young children the freedom to explore, imagine and play at their own pace in a thoughtfully prepared environment. Children are free to move between inviting play areas –building, dramatic play, sensory exploration, art and movement –depending on what sparks their curiosity. Caregivers remain with their child, offering support and gentle guidance. Open play supports social development, creativity and confidence.
Other Things To Know
👉 Adult participation required

Your active participation is required throughout the entire session. This is not a passive-supervision period; it's an opportunity to deepen your child's learning and creativity.
You are expected to get on the floor, build the tower, help launch the experiment, and engage in the narrative your child is creating. Follow their lead, ask open-ended questions (e.g., "What happens if we add this?" or "Tell me about your structure"), and help them execute ideas they can't manage alone.
Help your child gather, organize, and use the available resources, ensuring they are used creatively and safely.
By being fully present and engaged (e.g., cell phones put away), you model focused attention, problem-solving, and the joy of shared experience. Your enthusiasm and collaboration help foster your child's motivation, creativity, and persistence.
One actively engaged adult must be in the room with the child at all times. The quality of the interaction is key—prepare to build, imagine, and explore together!
