Renée K. Nicholson is a poet and memoirist who believes words can heal. She works in narrative medicine alongside doctors and patients, turning the raw material of human experience into something that, as one physician put it, "changes your DNA." Her third collection, Feverdream, is out now, and when she's not writing poems, Renée writes about culture high and low, from Vermeer to Prince and will happily talk about either at length.
