Join us for the next Oakland Unplugged, a free quarterly open mic night at Groundfloor Club. Oakland’s friendliest, free open mic aims to create a safe, listening space where you can share that new song, poem, in the most authentic or maybe vulnerable way.

Our featured artist this time is the incredible PHERN. PHERN is an Oakland-native singer, songwriter, and performer blending R&B, soul, funk, and experimental sounds. Her latest single, “CAP,” breaks from her usual sound as she calls out broken promises and lays it all on the table. She has another single coming this fall, with a larger project on the horizon.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting to explore your creative side, Oakland Unplugged is a safe space for you to share your music.

For those practicing for live shows, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get your feet wet. Our stage is your canvas, and we can't wait to witness the magic you bring to life.
