Calling all writers in the Hickory Nut Gorge! Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure presents an Open Mic Night on Tuesday, April 8th from 6:30-8:30pm at The Gardens Restaurant.If you write, we invite you to come read! And even if you have someone else's poetry or essay you've read and would love to share, bring it along. Whether you're into short stories, personal essays, poetry, flash fiction, satirical essays, original songs (spoken word only, no singing), stand-up comedy scripts, memoirs, excerpts from novels, or even a short
"how-to" piece- this Open Mic is for you!
Readers, please email [email protected] to secure your spot for 5-10 minutes. Walk-ups are welcome on a first-come, first-serve basis. You don't need to make a reservation to attend and observe the readings. A light menu and a cash bar will be available for purchases.
