Welcome to The Cinema Sessions! Tucked away in the private cinema room inside the historic Royalty Cinema, we are hosting a totally unique, free night of live, unplugged music.Whether you want to sit back and discover incredible local Cumbrian talent, or you’re a musician looking to play on this amazing intermate stage—this night is for you.
🛋️ FOR THE AUDIENCE: The Ultimate "Listening Room"
Tired of standing at the back of a noisy pub where you can’t hear the singer? This is different. Sink into a comfy cinema seat, grab a pint, a glass of wine, or a coffee from the bar downstairs, and let the music wash over you. We have regular 10-minute intervals throughout the night so you can easily pop down for a refill without missing a beat! It’s relaxed, intimate, and totally free.
🎸 FOR THE MUSICIANS: Want to play?
Forget playing to a room full of people talking over you. This is a dedicated "Listening Room" with a crowd that is there for the music. We provide a full professional PA, mixing desk, lighting, guitars, drums and some of the best acoustics in the Lake District.
