24 April - "Lakes Live is a high energy multi genre showcase bringing six distinct sounds into one immersive space in the heart of the Lakes. Acoustic, Indie Rock, Alt Rock, Soul, Afrobeats, plus a DJ opening and closing the night to keep the energy flowing from start to finish.Following our MiniFest in Kendal last summer which drew over 100 attendees and proved there is real appetite for live music here, this is the next step. Bigger room. Bigger sound. Bigger atmosphere.
The Royalty gives us something different.
Although based in a cinema, the seating is removed to create a proper live floor space, transforming it into a powerful music venue for the night.
With cinema grade sound and full lighting, the experience will be loud, immersive and built to move through different energies across the evening rather than sit in one lane.
Each artist performs a 30 minute set, giving the crowd variety and momentum throughout the night.
Snacks will be available and the bar will be open. All ages welcome.
Built and organised by Alexander from Sold Out Records as part of pushing the Lake District live music scene forward and creating nights people genuinely want to show up for.
