Come share your talent with your community! Be present at 7:00 p.m. to sign up on the schedule for your 10 minute slot (either solo or ensemble).
This open mic is intended to showcase musical talents, short stories, and poetry. Sorry, juggling, comedy, acrobatics, or pet tricks are not a good fit.:(
The audience is supportive and encouraging to all performers. The utmost courtesy will be given to everyone.
Instrumentation must be acoustic. Synthesizers, sequencers, karaoke machines, tape or CD players will not be accommodated.
All acoustic genres are welcomed.
Performers are allowed two songs or 10 minutes, whichever comes first.
Be tuned up and ready to perform when your turn comes. If you’re not ready, your name will be put at the bottom of the list.
If there is time left over when we get to the end of the list, we’ll have another round of one song or 5 minutes each.
Instruments with pickups must plug into our board. You won’t need any extra equipment.
Please be aware that children might be present and adjust your performance accordingly.
Monterey County Free Libraries are alcohol and smoke-free areas.
Everyone is welcome to bring snacks to share. Coffee is provided.
