Open Mic and Open Band at the MoshPit - Sydney's Longest Running Open Mic!

Sydney's longest running Open Mic returns to the MoshPit in 2026, on every Wednesday night, now combined with Open Band for our last weeks of operation.
Usually 10 - 15 minute sets for solos and duets, 5 minute sets for poetry and comedy.
Full drum kit available (please bring your own cymbals and snare - we do have but most people prefer to bring their own).
We also have a guitar amp, a bass amp, and a house guitar that everyone is welcome to use.
Each Wednesday the bar opens at 5pm with live music kicking off at 7pm. Happy Hour runs from 5 till 7pm with $5 Schooners and $7 Pints of Young Henrys Natural Lager, and $5 glasses of house Red and White wine. Pizza can be ordered from the bar from Open till Close.
