Join Frederick CUUPS for an open, family-friendly Lughnasadh celebration! Lughnasadh marks the beginning of harvest season and falls at the midway point between the summer solstice and the autumnal equinox. At this time, we take joy in the abundance of the world around us and celebrate our first harvests of summer bounty.
Join us for a potluck feast, with offerings of Lughnasadh-themed poetry, song, stories, etc. After dinner, we will move outdoors for drumming, dancing, and more celebration.
Please Bring a dish to share (include a small card with ingredients listed on it), any songs or stories you'd like to offer, and percussion if you play.
Donations are appreciated, but never required. Your presence is what truly matters!
