Open Lab Series: Intro to Color Development

Join us for our Open Lab Series at The Darkroom Chicago inside Tuley Park Cultural Center, located near East 90th Street & South King Drive on Chicago’s South Side.
This series is designed for photographers, artists, and community members who want to learn or strengthen foundational analog photography skills in a supportive darkroom environment. Whether you are new to film or returning to the process, Open Lab is a space to build confidence, ask questions, and practice your craft.
Sessions may introduce foundational skills such as black-and-white printing, film development, color development, negative handling, contact sheets, enlarger use, and darkroom workflow.
What’s Included:

Please Bring:
- An exposed roll of C41 color film
