Open House Goethe-Institut

The Goethe-Institut Singapore is excited to open its doors to anyone who is interested in the insights and work of our Institute! There will be two exclusive guided tours led by our Head of Language, Ms Ute Hartmann, introducing all things related to German language learning, from language courses, corporate courses to exams. Find out how German language learning continues and is further supported in our other exciting programmes, such as in the Schools: Partners for the Future (PASCH) initiative, Educational Cooperation Programme (BKD) and Information Point on Study in Germany, Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD).

Take a short breather after the tour, and enjoy some light refreshments on us, before proceeding on to the 136 Goethe Lab, for a rare opportunity to explore this unique space for culture in Singapore. Our colleagues from the Culture department will take you through a quick overview of the local cultural landscape, the need and relevance of the Lab, and past projects held at the space. You will also be able to interact with a group of artists who is currently occupying the Lab and ask them questions related to their artworks and practice, in an open-studio format.

We look forward to welcoming you in this very concised and informative session concerning both our language and cultural work at the Goethe-Institut Singapore!

We will wait a maximum of 15 mins for any latecomers. Each tour will last between 30 to 45 minutes and have no more than 15 participants.
