Join us at the Morbid Anatomy Library & Gift Shop with our Founder & Creative Director, Joanna Ebenstein for a celebration of curiosity, community, and the beautifully macabre.
We’ll start the day at the library with a grounding in-person Death Meditation led by Eastern-trained death doula Bryan Melillo. This intimate session offers a rare opportunity to reflect on mortality in a safe, contemplative space. (Space limited; Tickets here)
Following the meditation, we’ll open our doors for a unique open house experience. At 1pm, Joanna will lead a guided tour of the library and its contents, shedding light on its origins, mission, and most unusual treasures. She will stay on site throughout the day to answer questions and share stories.
For the rest of the afternoon, we’ll host drop-in tarot readings, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore the library and shop, full of rare and esoteric books, art, ephemera, and curiosities that span the intersections of death, beauty, and forgotten history.
Whether you're a longtime follower or just curious, we invite you to step inside and experience the world of Morbid Anatomy for yourself.
