Open Gate Zendo

Every Saturday Open Gate Zendo is a Public Meditation Service from 9:30 am to 11 am. It consists of two 25-minute meditation periods, recitation of a poem, and a Dharma Talk.
After the second sitting, we read a zen poem/sutra, afterwards a teacher (or Dharma students) gives a Dharma Talk
After the service, please plan to stay for coffee/tea or any special gathering.
You can sit on a mat and cushion or a chair, whichever is more comfortable.
If it is your first time, we suggest to arrive at 9:00 am for a brief introduction.
