Open Farm Sessions to see, meet and handle baby goats

After last years success we are doing farm tours again! Starting 7th February and continuing over half term and on Saturdays following in February, we are inviting you to come and enjoy our goats and kids. Each ticket allows access for 1 adult or 1 child (under 2 years free).

You will be welcomed on arrival to the farm and shown into the kidding shed, where goat keeper Joy will chat and show you the different goats and kids, for approximately 30 minutes, then you'll be free to spend time with the kids and goats. You can also tour the other parts of the farm escorted by a farm member to see our cattle wintering inside, pet our friendly sheep (2Fi), find an egg in the hen shed and see the hens, visit our other goats, featuring the billies (daddies) and Wilma (our friendly pet from last year and Echt show attendee where she won over many hearts!) and sit in the tractor. There should be plenty of photo opportunitie! You will have approximately one to one and a half hours at the farm. If you're lucky you might see a baby goat being born!

It is a working farm , and will likely be cold and muddy, please bring old clothes and suitable footwear. There are cold handwashing facilities outside and warm handwashing will be completed at the farmhouse at the end of each visit as per risk assessment requirements.

We also have some of our own professionally butchered frozen goat meat to purchase on request, including mince, sausages, roasting joints and burgers.
