The growing season is rolling now and we *think* we are clear of late spring frosts. Things are growing well both in the ground and in the hoop house, and we have lots to show and tell.
Join us for two workshops, self-guided farm tours, kids scavenger hunts, and farm-fresh produce. As always, everything is PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN so everyone can participate in our local food system!
Saturday, June 13th
11am to 2pm – RAIN OR SHINE

11:00AM COMPOSTING 101 (English only)
Learn all the basics and a variety of methods for successful backyard composting, presented by Hayes Farm in partnership with the City of Fredericton.
12:15 PROPAGATING MUSHROOMS
Join Mujin Lee and Anthony Brooks in the shade to learn about propagating your own mushrooms. Materials, method, and identification will be covered, and between these two savvy presenters all of your mushroom questions will be answered.
PRODUCE STAND OFFERINGS INCLUDE:
Lettuce, baby kale, herb bunches, rhubarb
We also have a few leftovers from our plant sale that we hope will find their homes (could it be yours?!) by the end of this weekend!
