Open Endings – Fostering Dialogues: The Good Ending We Need To Talk About
About this Event
The Good Ending We Need to Talk About is the next session in Open Endings – Fostering Dialogues, HCA Hospice's thoughtfully curated talk series designed to spark dialogue around palliative care and caregiving.
What does a good ending look like, and are we doing enough to make it possible? This session explores the hopes, the hard questions, and the conversations around dignity, comfort and care at the end of life. Whether you're a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or simply someone who has carried these questions quietly, this is a space for you.
For this session, we are collaborating with Maisie Cheong, a speaker and consultant specialising in human connection, to guide us through what may be one of the most important conversations we never thought to have.
Admission is free, but advance registration is required. Please register by 3 July 2026. For enquiries, please contact us at [email protected]
*Refreshments will be provided.
About the Series
Previously known as Learn@HCA, Open Endings – Fostering Dialogues has been rebranded to better reflect its purpose: to spark dialogue, reflection, curiosity, and constructive conversation, and to give the public greater access to knowledge and diverse perspectives on palliative care and caregiving.
About HCA Hospice
As Singapore's largest home hospice care provider, HCA Hospice makes over 49,000 home visits each year, journeying alongside patients and their families through the final chapter at no charge. Our compassionate care extends beyond medical support to include psychosocial and bereavement services for the family even after the patient has passed.
We create good days because every life should be celebrated, even at its end. Our patient-centered and family-focused model of care advocates dignity, diversity, and development for all individuals. HCA’s range of services cater to individuals of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and includes a day hospice programme, as well as the only paediatric palliative home care programme in Singapore, Star PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support).
