Her journey began at Iowa State University with the Science Bound program, where she supported underrepresented students in their pursuit of higher education. She continued her work at Wichita State University, focusing on student success and community involvement. Cynthia believes in strengthening the relationship between schools and the community by fostering partnerships with local organizations, encouraging parental involvement, and creating opportunities for community input in decision-making. Her campaign emphasizes unity, trust, growth, transparency, and passion in education.
