Open Doors to History invites you to experience St. Lawrence County’s past through a series of free and donation-based public access days, part of the countywide America 250th (Semiquincentennial) celebration.
Step inside museums, historic buildings, and cultural sites not always open to the public. Meet local historians, explore architecture shaped by generations, and uncover the stories of the people and places that define the region.
Along the way, enjoy special touches throughout participating locations, exclusive giveaways, photo opportunities with historic character cutouts, and the chance to collect limited-edition 250th Commemoration Challenge Coins. Visitors can also enter to win prizes during St. Lawrence County History Month this October.
