Open Doors at Justice 2026

Justice Canada annually hosts an Open Doors at Justice event to engage in dialogue with the public and stakeholders on various topics related to making government more open and accessible. This year, the Open Doors at Justice event will take place on May 20, 2026, during Open Government Week (May 18 to 22).

The 2026 Open Doors at Justice event will be on Artificial Intelligence and Technology and will bring participants together to hear from Justice Canada executives and experts in these topics. Speakers will share insights into their work and its importance for access to justice and the ethical use of AI.

Please note this will be a hybrid event taking place in-person at the Department of Justice Canada Library in Ottawa as well as virtually through MS Teams. The event will be bilingual, with simultaneous translation available for in-person and virtual attendees. Real-time captioning will be available for virtual attendees. This event will not be recorded.

You will be given the option to choose your ticket type during registration. There will be limited spaces for in-person attendance (50) at the Department of Justice Canada Library in Ottawa.

• Registration for virtual participation closes at 12 pm on May 19th
