Good evening friends, family, and the Orlando music community,I am proud to announce a new direction for my upcoming events at Grumpy’s Underground. Moving forward, we are integrating a mission of advocacy by hosting a fundraiser for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)—the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization.
This cause is deeply personal to me. Having been diagnosed with Depression and ADHD at the age of 13, I have navigated significant mental health challenges, including a period in my youth where I nearly lost my life to this battle. Through therapy and a commitment to seeking help, I have found a path toward healing.
The local music scene has been a sanctuary for me, and I have met incredible people who have shaped my life. Now, I want to use the power of music to give back.
Please join us on Wednesday, April 8th, as we celebrate the community and raise vital funds to ensure no one has to struggle alone.
This event is free, I will be providing a QR Code which will allow you to donate money towards NAMI if you choose to do so. I want to start somewhere!
