🧘 9:00 AM – Qi Gong
Start the day with gentle, flowing movements to improve balance, flexibility, and mindfulness in a serene garden setting. Perfect for relaxation and energy flow.
🕙 10:00 AM
Intro about Deaf Awareness
Learn about the Deaf community, their culture, and the importance of inclusivity. This session will share insights into communication barriers faced by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, as well as practical ways we can foster understanding and respect in daily life.
🕥 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Basic Sign Language Learning & Activities
A fun and interactive session where participants will be introduced to basic Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) signs, including common greetings, numbers, and simple phrases. The learning will be paired with group activities and games to help you practise and remember signs more effectively.
🎵 Wrapped up with a Sign Language Song – “You Are My Sunshine”
Put your new skills into action by learning the signs to this heartwarming classic. Together, we’ll perform the song in sign language. Ending the day with music, connection, and a shared sense of accomplishment.
