Open Day on Thursday, September 25th at our new official home:

After our earlier workshop there, students and teachers alike fell in love with the spaces.
The resonance felt just right. So here we are… ready to make it official! 💫
🗓️ Schedule for the Open Day :
🕖 Class at 7pm
🕗 Social dancing 8pm to 10pm
💵 Entry: $5 cash (includes class + social)

This first class will offer a taste of the term to come, where we'll dive into our signature teaching :

🎓 Meet Your Teachers
✨ Juliette – Founder of Nexus Dance School
With a lifelong passion for movement and healing, Juliette has danced across various styles since childhood, embracing Latin dances deeply over the past five years.
As a trained psychotherapist and dance therapist, Juliette blends her expertise in healing with her passion for dance, using movement as a powerful tool for self-discovery and transformation. She creates sacred spaces where dancers reconnect with the essence of dance, honoring authenticity and deep connection above all.
Her approach bridges movement and healing, bringing emotional depth and intentionality to the dance floor.
✨ Michael – Instructor
Michael's diverse expertise makes him a well rounded dancer and exceptional coach to help you establish solid foundations and accelerate your dance journey!
Michael had achieved the highest level nationally in the Semi Pro category by the end of 2018 in Salsa performance and social dance. Michael began to expand his skills further by 2023 and trained in the new Bachata Sensual style, winning multiple Jack and Jill competitions nationally.
To further his technical wisdom and mastery, Michael spends time training and competing overseas, bringing back forefront trends and techniques back to NZ dance floors.
Michael's experience in Allied health and Wellness has significantly enhanced Michael's understanding of the body and mind mechanics. He finds joy in attending to the individual's learning style and needs, with particular focus on easing stress and bringing balance to one's journey.
